Lowell Ebert has retired out of state and while he will always be a member in our hearts, we needed a new guy for the stage.
We found him in Vince Rosselli, a born-again gigolo with many, many talents!

Dave Cook and Bob Williams have left the band (no, not in a coffin). Now we are back and graver than ever.

A crew from Yorkshire TV in Britain attends the live show at Hollywood Alley in Mesa, AZ and shoots footage
(no pun intended) to be
included in an episode of their "3D" documentary series that will focus on retirement communities like
Sun City
that are springing up in the UK too. Footage shot includes "Sun City Rocks", audience participation and
interviews.
The programme is scheduled to air nationwide between now and June 1997. It is to be noted that the lads found out
about One Foot In The
Grave via this Web site and contact was established via e-mail :)

Though the exact date and circumstances are unknown, Voices Music, the German label that released
Old Farts,
goes out of business and leaves the band with unpaid royalties for all of the year. A stock of CDs can
be secured by the
German agent. No further details are known. Major bummer...

Broadcast.com (formerly AudioNet), a Web site specializing in online RealAudio broadcasts, adds the entire
"Lookin' Good! Who's Your Embalmer?" album to their
jukebox. If you have the RealAudio player installed, you can
jump directly to the album
and give it a listen. Thanks go to John Welsh.

For tour schedule see the Concert Dates archive.

One Foot In The Grave's second album, Old Farts, is released. Unfortunately for US fans, the
CD will be released in Germany only. Eventually the album should be available in the US too.
The album is full of "Geritol punk" again and features two cover tunes, one by the Violent Femmes the other,
again, by the Ramones. Some of the tracks should already be familiar to those who attended The Foot's shows in the recent
past and the rest are pleasant surprises.

Dave Cook, local Phoenix jazz legend since 1959, joins The Foot as the new drummer. At age 62 he replaces Gino Costa.
Dave does not intend to leave his jazz bands but teaming up with The Foot gives him a chance to finally go to Europe, a
life-long dream of his.
